Next Level Football Combine Rules and Regulations
Offensive Lineman:
· You may block between the shoulders and waist
· You may block only with your hands and nothing else
· No hands to face at any time
· No diving at knees, ankles or legs at any time
· No laying on top of Defensive Lineman if he goes to ground
· No holding outside of chest parameters
· Must stop on whistle or Coaches' break call
· May not use head as leverage at any time
Defensive Lineman:
· May rush full speed towards bags or dummies
· May use hands on rush, but cannot put hands to face at anytime
· No diving at knees, ankles or legs at any time
· Must stop on whistle or Coaches break call
· May not use head as leverage at any time
· Failure to comply with rules will get defensive player ejected from one-on-ones
Offensive Skill: (Running Backs/Fullbacks/Tight Ends/Receivers)
· May use hands to get off press coverage
· May not put hands to defender's faceat any time
· No trash talking or fighting; this will get you ejected from camp
Defensive Skill (Defensive Backs/Linebackers)
· May use hands to press at line of scrimmage
May only bump between shoulder and stomach area with hands only
· May not at any time put hands to offensive player's face
· No tackling or ripping at offensive player at any time
· No trash talking or fighting; this will get you ejected from camp
(Any athlete not following these rules is subject to ejection from the camp without refund)
